The Mummy build part 9

Finished and installed at the NGV.

The Mummy build part 8

She was deemed too scary once it was finished so I had to modify the face, paint skin in a custom gold/bronze oil paint I mixed up with makeup pigment, and stain the bandages...

The Mummy build part 7

Hair done and bandages wrapped.

The Mummy build part 6

Legs and genuine human hair.

The Mummy build part 5

The Mummy build part 4

The upper body parts coming together, then paint.

The Mummy build part 3

I made all of the fingers separately then brought them together to make the hands.

The Mummy build part 3

The Mummy build part 2

I built the mummy in pieces in a welded steel armature. All of the parts plugged together to make the work easier, considering everything is made on my coffee table.

I started the head with paper and wire, then tin foil to build it up to save on clay and drying time.

A full set of teeth was made separately then inserted into holes I made in the jaw.
